My Jesus Knows…
Beautiful Song. Gladys Knight singing at the 2008 Memorial Day Concert. We need to be thinking more about PEACE. Enjoy.
One of my favorites. With so much uncertainty in our world, this song brings me back to faith. I don’t know about tomorrow, but I know who holds tomorrow, and I know, who holds my hand.
Back to the basics.
Yes, He Knows Just What I Need. I listened to several renditions of this song. The one I like the best would not post here. If the quality of the recording met the quality of their voices in this one, it would be awesome. It is the words of the song I want you to relate to. Enjoy.
A praise song and a good reminder.
“If you could see where Jesus brought me from, to where I am today. Then you would know, the reason why I love him so…”
I love this song.
Haven’t heard this one before. But I’ll remember to listen to it when I feel bad that I don’t get to go on a vacation.;-)
Sometimes we get busy with every day life. How glorious it is to just stop for a few moments and contemplate…how great thou art God; How Great Thou Art.
I humbly bow. Savior, Savior, hear my humble cry…
Only by the grace of God.
I love this performance by the Crabb Family as Jason Crabb puts every ounce of his talent to use in this song. Give a listen.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. ~King James Version
Bill and Gloria Gaither are responsible for some of the best gospel songs written in our time. This is a video of some of their earlier songs. Each song touches my life. The song, “Something Beautiful” is very dear to my heart. I love the first verse, “If there ever were dreams that were lofty and noble, they were my dreams at the start. For life’s hope for life’s best was the hope that I harbored…down deep in my heart. But my dreams turned to ashes, my castles all crumbled, my fortune turned to loss. So I wrapped them all in the rags of my life, and I laid them at the cross…” Give a listen. What is one of your favorite Gaither songs?
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. ~New King James Version
I love this performance of this song by this young man, Joseph Larson. It goes with my blog entry last night “Come Home Son.” You have my permission to skip the last part where they talk about taking an offering. 😉 But the words to this song are awesome, especially if you know a young man on a pathway to destruction. God can bring his heart home and turn him around. Give a listen.
I LOVE this performance…and song. Enjoy.
This was one of my mothers favorite songs. She told me at one time she had been praying (about my salvation) and this song came to her in a dream, along with a visual that made her know, I was ok with the Lord. It had been one of my favorite songs so one day we heard it play when we were together and she told me of her dream. She was a very spiritual woman who loved the Lord…as do I. I am thankful for this song and the memory of knowing, my mama prayed for me.
2 Timothy 1:5
5 “Then I am reminded of the sincere faith which you have; it came first to live in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice, and I have no doubt that it is the same faith in you as well.” ~Jerusalem Bible
JOHN 3: 16
16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” ~Living Bible
